ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 221-2, (3.80 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around SACER DEI SOLIS ELAGAB, Elagabalus standing to right, sacrificing at altar, star to right, (S.7542, RIC 131, RSC 240). Extremely fine/good very fine.
