EGYPT, Alexandria, Severus Alexander, (A.D. 222-235), billon tetradrachm, year 4 = A.D.224-225, (12.392 grams), obv. laureate bust right, partial legend around, rev. Eagle standing left head to right, L **D*, (cf.S.8128, Koln 2418-9, Milne 2935, BMC 1694). Short on flan as usual, otherwise very fine.

With collector's detailed ticket and ticket from Pat Johnson, Houston, Texas.
