SYRIA, Seleucis & Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontes (Antioch), Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), silver tetradrachm, (14.526 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Vespasian, **AUTOKRAT KAISA OUESPACIANOU*, rev. **ETOUS B IEROU, year 2 = A.D. 70-71), eagle standing to left, on club, wings spread, palm branch in front (cf.S.736, McAlee 334, Prieur 112, RPC 1945). Dark tone, rough fields, otherwise good fine/fine and scarce.
