THE BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, No. 1297, Third of Exchange, Hobart Town, Nov 18th 1842, ?300.0.0, at thirty days after sight of this Third of Exchange, First and Second of the same tenor and date being unpaid pay to the order of I.F.Groom Esq Three Hundred Pounds Sterling value received, endorsed on reverse, 1st I.F.Groom per Sovereign / 2nd do per Sultan, marked on front in red ink, I.F.Groom, stamp at top, Issued At 2 Pr. Cent Premium, stationary with B of A within ornate oval frame within decorative scrollwork design, paper with watermark of scalloped edge with Bank of Australasia cross centre. Very fine.
