HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 130, Rome mint, (3.080 grams), obv. bare head to left of Hadrian, around [HADRI]ANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. CLEMENTIA AVG COS III PP around, Clementia standing to left holding patera and sceptre, (cf.S.3464, RIC 206, BMC 536 note, RSC 220). Very fine, a very rare variant.

The Reka Devnia hoard of 81,044 silver coins contained 5892 coins of Hadrian, it contained no coins of this type.
