PALESTINE, Judaea, Second Revolt or Bar Cochba War, (A.D. 132-135), small bronze, AE 20, (6.96 grams), Third Coinage, dated year 1 = A.D. 132-3, obv. bunch of grapes, around Hebrew legend = "Year 1 for the Redemption of Israel", rev. seven branch palm tree with legend in Hebrew "Eleazar the Priest", (S.5678, Group 1a and Mildenberg 150 [these dies obv. 1, rev. 4, H.681 [140]). On large flan, some surface roughness, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
