BURMA, standard weight of the Burmese kings, the sacred "Hantha bird" weight issued 1853-1878, weight 160 grams corresponding to ten Kyats. another "Ziwazo bird" weight issued 1846-1852, these are different varieties, (Robinson and Shaw, The Coins and Banknotes of Burma, Chapter 5, pp.31-4 [figure 11 and 13 p.32], cf.M.2831-5). Very fine. (2)
