IRELAND, Hiberno-Norse issue penny, Phase III, c.1035-1060, obv. crude bust to left, blundered legend, two pellets behind neck, and four pellets before face, rev. long cross type similar to that of Aethelred II, with two crude hands in opposite angles and plain in other corners, (S.6132, cf.SCBI BM [1966], Nos.136, cf.Spink "Viking" Sale March 14, 2001 lot 1127). Nearly extremely fine and very rare.
