ANZAC COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL, 1967, engraved, 'C.R.Lamrock'. In case of issue, extremely fine.

57 Cuthbert Robert Lamrock, Enl.18Sep1914 6LHR, landed as part of 2LH Bde on Gallipoli, May 1915, served at ANZAC until mid-October then seconded to RNAS as Observer for service over Gallipoli; 01Apr1916 transferred to 15FAB; Emb.28Apr1916 for England to report to D.D.M. Aeronautics, War Office for purpose of joining RFC; Disch.13May1916 from A.I.F. and commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in RFC; qualified as pilot serving in RFC and the newly formed RAF, 15May1916 - 11Nov1918. A desirable medal to a man who has advanced from a Light Horse trooper to a commissioned officer pilot. Ex Tom Hanley Collection.
