FRANCE, Third Republic, Medal of Honour for Saving Life, Naval Reward Medal of the Minister of the Navy and the Colonies, 43mm by Barre, named on the reverse in raised lettering, 'A / Arthur / Glossop / Marin / Anglais / Courage / Et / Devouement / 1884' (To Arthur Glossop, English sailor, for courage and loyalty) (cf.MH.219). Loop ring missing from suspension ball, otherwise good very fine.
