ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 219-220, (2.895 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped and cuirassed to right, around IMP ANTO NINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around FIDES MILITVM, Fides standing half left, holding vexillum upright and standard across body, (S.7512, RIC 73, RSC 38a); another silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 219, (3.222 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped and cuirassed to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around LIBERALITAS AVG II, Liberalitas standing left, holding abacus and resting left arm on cornucopiae set on base, (S.7521, RIC 102, RSC 79). Last toned, very fine - nearly extremely fine. (2)
