U.S.A., World Columbian Exposition, 1892, award medal in bronze (76mm) by Scovill Manufacturing Company, Waterbury, Connecticut, obverse by Augustus Saint Gaudens, reverse, by C.E.Barber, impressed in relief, 'Dept. of Forestry'. With original frame aluminium case ornately decorated with floral pattern, case-hinge and internal lift-up cardboard surround missing, one small spot of verdigris on reverse otherwise uncirculated.
