ISLAMIC, al-Maghreb (North Africa). Zirids. al-Mu'izz ibn Badis. (A.H. 406-454, A.D. 1016-1062). gold Dinar (23mm, 3.69 g). al Qayrawan mint. Dated AH 442 (AD 1050/1). Shiite religious legends, with mint and date formula; additional terminal letter in obverse and reverse fields. (Cf. Hazard 4; cf. Kazan 632; Album 458). Good very fine and rare.
