Roma seated to left, being crowned by Victory standing behind her, SEX. NONI in exergue, around PR. [L. V. P. F.], (S.377, Cr.421/1, Syd.885, B.Nonia 1 [Å‣50]). Off centred reverse, bright, otherwise, good very fine and scarce.
The praetor Sextus Nonius Sufenas, nephew of Sulla, is celebrated on the reverse as the initiator of the Victory Games in 81 B.C.
