PERSIS, Kingdom of, uncertain ruler (Mitchiner Prince Y), (c.A.D. 30), silver hemi-drachm, (1.574 grams), obv. draped bust to left with short beard, wearing diadem and tiara ornamented by a crescent, rev. double diadem traces of Aramaic legend around, (S.5956, BMC 5 [p.237, Pl.XXXVI, 15], M.751). Very fine and rare.
