GEORGE III, Resolution and Adventure medal 1772, in bronze (44mm) by Mathew Boulton (M.H.373; BHM 165; Klenman 1). Struck from the second reverse die (as were all the silver issues). Toned good very fine and excessively rare in this metal from these dies.

A piece struck in copper was sold at Noble Numismatics Sale 24 (lot 987).
