MELBOURNE CENTENARY AIR RACE, 1934, in gold (18ct, 24.1gms, 34mm) with suspension ring, blue ribbon and gold brooch bar (9ct, 6gms) with MacRobertson signature logo, by Stokes (C.1945/5 variant), obverse, bust of Sir MacRobertson, International Air Race 1934, reverse, map showing the flight plan followed - London / to / Melbourne 1934/35. This medal is thought to have been won by an English pilot. With Hardy Bros.Ltd / Jewellers & Silversmiths / Australia case of issue. Uncirculated and very rare.
