WAR RELATED BADGES: MZ Commando Association membership badge and tie pin (2) ref: O'Connor, Australian Airborne p.337 & 350; War Widows' Guild badge No 2905; ARP lapel badge; CPF War Service pin badge; RAAF MS (Meteorological) collar badges, scarce (20mm) (2); and Sheet Metal Workers Union Australia (King's crown) enamelled membership badge No 1215. Very fine - extremely fine. (8)

RAAF Meteorological Branch operated from the Department of Meteorological Science. It was established in World War II and disbanded in 1947. The MS badge was worn on collars of the jacket with the arrow in the horizontal position.
