SASANIAN KING, Artashir II, (A.D. 379-383), silver drachm, Type I/I, (4.02 grams), obv. bust to right with crown as a close-fitting headress, pearl border and globe aabove, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar with attendants, holding spears, facing altar, (cf.Sellwood 34, Gobl 122, M.910). Toned, very fine and rare.
