EUBOIA, Karystos, (c.350 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.376 grams), obv. bearded head of Herakles to right, clad in lion skin, rev. cow seated to left, KAPY above, club to right below, (S.2505 [£400], BMC 8-9, Lanz BCD Catalogue No.111, [lot 556, realised 250 Euros +], SNG Cop.417). Good fine/very fine and rare.

Ex BCD Collection (with his ticket) and previously from the W.P. Wallace Collection.
