SICILY, Centoripae, (344-336 B.C.), AE drachm or litra, (32.25 grams, one of the largest ancient Greek bronzes), obv. head of Kore-Persephone crowned with ears of corn, four dolphins around to right, rev. crouching panther with arched back walking left with raised right paw, (S.1080, SNG ANS 1305, Calciati III, 165, 1). Good Fine and well centered with pleasing dark green patina, rare.
