ITALY, Campania, Neapolis, (c.275-250 B.C.), AE 18, (5.446 grams), obv. head of Apollo laureate to left, before **NEOPOLITW[N]*, rev. man-headed bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below plain, trace of **SI* in exergue, (cf.S.557, HN 589, Talierco Group IIIa, cf.Sambon 686, SNG Paris 1013 [similar dies], cf.BMC 222-4 [p.115]). Dark green patina, good very fine and rare.
