XXX, cross above, CONB in exergue, all in circle, (S.432, DOC [15c], BMC 39); Phocas, (A.D. 602-610), AE follis, Constantinople mint, officina E, year 2 = 603-4, (13.282 grams), obv. Phocas crowned and facing wearing consular robes, rev. XXXXu, ANNO above, CON**G* in exergue, overstruck on a Maurice Tiberius follis of Antioch mint (year 17 = 598-9 A.D.), (S.640, DOC [26b], R.1210). Nearly extremely fine and scarce, very fine. (2)
