MAXIMINUS II AS CAESAR, (A.D. 309-313), AE folles, Antioch mint, issued (6.536 grams), obv. MAXIMINVS NOB CAES, helmeted bust to left with spear over shoulder and a very decorated shield with soldiers fighting and on horseback, rev. around SOLI IN VICTO, ANT in exergue, Sol radiate standing facing head to left holding a globe in facing quadriga with two horses turning left and two turning right, A between legs of horses, (S.-, RIC 145b [R3]). Very fine - nearly extremely fine and very rare.
