AURELIAN, (A.D. 270-275), billon antoninianus, issued 272, Siscia mint, (4.41 grams), obv. radiate cuirassed bust right with ornate Gorgon head on brest plate, IMP AVRELIANVS AVG, rev. IOVI CONSER around, S in exergue, emperor receiving globe from Jupiter, (S.11542, RIC 129). Very fine, scarce and iunteresting.
