HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 133, Rome mint, (3.484 grams), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. PROVIDENTIA AVG around, Providentia standing to left, pointing to globe, holding sceptre, resting left elbow on column, (S.3531, RIC 262, RSC 1201). Nearly as struck, extremely fine and rare in this condition.
