VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 78, (3.034 grams), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, rev. sow to left. IMP XIX in exergue, (S.2292, RIC 109, RSC 213). Toned, good very fine and scarce.

Ex Davissons, Ltd., Cold Springs MN, Auction Sale 13 Spring 2000 (lot 113) and previously from NFA in April 1978.
