LYDIA, Sardes, Nero, (A.D. 54-68), AE 16, (2.730 grams), issued c.65 A.D., obv. laureate head of Nero to right, **NERWN KAI*CAP, rev. head of Herakles toright, around **EPI TI MNA*CEOY CAP**DIANWN*, (cf.S.592, RPC 3009, BMC 123-4). Dark brown-black patina, nearly extremely fine and rare.
