SICULO-PUNIC, mint of the camp, (c.320-310 B.C.), silver tetradrachm of finest style, (16.738 grams), obv. wreathed head of Persephone (or Arethusa) to left, wearing triple pendant earring and necklace, four dolphins swimming around, rev. horse's head to left, palm tree behind, Punic legend, "MMHNT" below, border of dots, (S.6434, Rizzo Pl.66, 3; SNG Lloyd 1631 [same obverse die], Jenkins SNR 56, [Series 3a] 147 [same dies, O47/R132]). Extremely fine with light grey tone on the obverse.

Ex Davissons, Ltd, Portland, MN, Auction Sale 10, April 1998 (lot 85). Jenkins knew of only one example from these dies and that appeared several times in auction including Hess 7 March 1935 (lot 285).
