BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Eucratides I, (170-145 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.802 grams), obv. pith helmeted head of Eucratides to right with dotted border ornamented with bull's horn and ear, rev. the Dioskouroi on horseback prancing to right, each holding spear and palm, monogram of MHPN, in exergue **EUKRATIDOU*, around above **BASILEWS MEGALOU, (cf.S.7570. M.1.177.-, Bopearachchi Series 6, SNG ANS -). A new unlisted monogram variety, nearly very fine and rare with dealer ticket.
