PAMPHYLIA, Side, silver stater, (late 5th century B.C.); Altram suggests 430-400 B.C.), (10.694 grams), obv. pomegranate, dotted border, rev. Head of Athena right in archaic style, wearing crested Corinthian helmet, (S.5425, SNG von Aulock 4764, Boston 2103, BMC 7 [p.144, Pl.XXV, 11, SNG France 2, 628-9 [same dies]). Off centred strike, otherwise very fine or better, rare.
