ITALY, Bruttium, Terina, (c300 B.C.), silver third stater (Sear and Holloway-Jenkins, HN drachm, (2.208 grams), Group B, obv. head of nymph Terina to left, hair bound with spendone, TE PINAION around on left, rev. winged Nike seated to left, on a cippus, wearing a chiton and himation, holds wreath in her extended right arm, (cf.S.510, Holloway - Jenkins 111 [similar dies], cf.SNG ANS 859, HN 2642). Nearly extremely fine, a fine example with minor scratches in reverse field.
