IONIA, Ephesos, (c.480-450 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.160 grams), obv. bee with tendrils, **[EF] ESI* O N* around, dotted border, rev. quadripartite incuse square, (cf.S.4361, BMC 12-13, SNG Cop. 210, SNG Turkey 140, Traite 1867). Dumpy flan, slightly off centred, good very fine, slightly porous and rare.
