HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 119-121, (15.13 grams), obv. radiate head of Hadrian to right, with drapery on far shoulder, around IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG, rev. Annona standing to left holding cornears and cornucopiae to left a modius and cornears, to right a prow of a ship, around PONT MAX TR POT COS III, S C in field, in exergue ANNONA AVG, (cf.S.3576, RIC 570, C.182). Tiber patina, good very fine and rare.
