SASANIAN KING, Yazdgard II, (A.D. 438-457), silver drachm, probably NVKI or "Navaki" mint, (4.184 grams), obv. bust to right with crown, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar, with "rasti" (just or truth) on shaft, (Sellwood 47, cf.Gobl 160, Alram 869, Panuck 337-340, M.971). Well centred, good extremely fine, very scarce.
