PELOPONNESOS, Achaean League, Dyme (Achaia) mint, (c.160-146 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.04 grams), obv. laureate head of Zeus to right, rev. AX monogram within wreath, TMKE monogram, nothing to left, XA**D* monogram to right, fish below, (cf.S.2974, Clerk 60, cf.BCD 489 (LHS Auction 96), BMC 32, SNG Cop. 242-3, McClean 6386). Very fine.
