THESSALY, Larissa, (340-320 B.C.), silver drachm, (5.792 grams), obv, facing head of nymph Larissa three-quarter to left, within dotted border, rev. horse grazing to right, with head turned facing, above **LARIS, in exergue **AIWN, (cf.S.2121, Hermann Pl.V, 14). Toned, of finest style, otherwise good very fine and scarce.

Ex Patrick Cooper Collection with his ticket and previously acquired in 1992.
