ITALY, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (c.443-400 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm, obv. head of Athena to right wearing crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with wreath, rev. bull butting to right, **[QOURIWN]*, plain below, [tunny fish below in exergue], with grass exergual line, (cf.S.436; HN 1775, SNG Cop.1406, SNG ANS 908). Very fine/good fine and rare.

The coin is housed in a container and packaged in a wooden box and sold by the Franklin Mint as an authentic ancient coin (text in Japanese).
