TEN SHILLINGS, Riddle/Sheehan (1933) C/0 000178 (R.9), low serial number, full bodied note, bright natural colour. Centre fold, rust spot top border, also left side, otherwise nearly very fine.

Original envelope with 'smeaton' handwritten in pencil, and typewritten 'Specimen 10/- note / Commonwealth of Australia / Received from Melbourne Office 13/7/33, not to be issued / or exhibited to the public', embossed on back of envelope 'The National Bank Australia Limited' and 'smeaton' stamped in blue.
