ANCIENT INDIA, Primitive money, c.1000-600 B.C., various coloured disc shaped polished stones and semi precious stones, claimed as used as barter money, called Karma Kundala or Girie, from the Haryana region, these are a quantity that have been polished and made into cylindrical blocks (possible as ear ornaments or necklaces etc.). The discs show traces of ancient polish but unusual perfection in shape and design, fine - very fine and extremely rare. (Approx. 50)
