ALFRED BOATWRIGHT, Merchant, Emu Bay, Tasmania, one pound April 1st 1879 no 245, similar to the previous, purple on white stamped PAID and with bank stamp on front and one penny red stamp. Four pin-holes, creases, toning and frayed right edge, otherwise good fine and extremely rare.
