BOMBAY PRESIDENCY, Charles II, European design, silver rupee, 1678, Bombay Mint, stop after Rupee, and after date, edge almost straight grained or slightly right (Pr.25). Attractive gun metal grey tone, minimal striking weakness for this, otherwise good very fine and extremely rare.
Purchased from Spink Australia in 1977.
