MADRAS PRESIDENCY, in the name of Shah Alam Bahadur (A.H.1119-1124, A.D. 1707-1712), silver rupees, impressed with the mint name Chinapatan and known as the "Madras rupee", Regnal Year 1 (1707-8) and another 3 (1709-1710), (Pr. 119, 121, KM. -). Very fine or better and both rare. (2)

Ex Steve Album list 47 (920, 922) and Colin E. Pitchfork Collection sold Noble Numismatics Sale 48 (lot 1990).
