BRITISH HONDURAS, John Jex, Belize, 1871 ¬ real (= 1«d) token in bronze coloured brass (Pr.75; Lyall 130; Rulau 3) design based on the U.S. Indian Head one cent. Good very fine and rare.

Ex W.J. Noble Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 61 (lot 1343) and previously purchased from Spink in 1978.
