BRITISH GUIANA, Essequibo and Demerary, local coinage, 1808, three guilders, struck on a Charles IIII Mexico City Mint eight reales, 1792 FM, pierced below centre with a hole of 19 crenellations and obverse countermarked with E & D/ 3.G.L within beaded oval (21.24 g) (Pr.2; KM.2). Toned, very fine, countermark good very fine and extremely rare.
