Florence and Siena dukes, rev. shield with six balls; Genoa, Conrad III, (1139-1339), silver denaro, (Biaggi 835); Modena, automonous issue silver grosso Bolognino, (c.1306-1336), similar to issue of Bologna (Biaggi 1587); Milan, Henry III or IV (1039-1125), silver denaro scodellato, (Biaggi 1413); Gian Galeazzo Visconti (1395-1402) as Duke, silver soldo, obv. St. Ambrose, rev. Floreated cross, (Biaggi 1479); another similar, Gian Galeazzo Visconti (1385-1395) as Signore, obv. snake devouring child, rev. as before, (Biaggi 1473).
