Torquatus, (c.113-112 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.79 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head to right, ROMA behind, X under chin, all within torques, rev. warrior horseman galloping to left, Q behind, L. TORQVA BELOW below, EX SC in exergue, (S.172, Cr.295/1, Syd.518). Weak in places, otherwise fine - nearly very fine. (2)
