ANONYMOUS SERIES, (c.225-217 B.C.), AE aes grave uncia, Rome mint, (20.08 grams), obv. helmeted head of Roma to left, dot behind, rev. prow of galley to right, dot below, (S.594, Thurlow Vecchi 56, Cr.35/6, Syd.77). Dark brown patination, fine and rare.

Ex Bradbury Kalmonde Thurlow Collection, (sold CNG Sale XXIV, December 9, 1992 (lot 53) and acquired from Antiquarius, New Zealand with their ticket.
