PLAUTILLA (WIFE OF CARACALLA), (c.A.D. 202-205), silver denarius, issued 204, (3.202 grams), obv. draped bust of Plautilla to right, around PLAVTILLA AVGVSTA, rev. Venus naked to waist standing half left with apple and palm, at side a shield, before her cupid, around VENVS VICTRIX, (S.7074, BMC 429, RIC 369, RSC 25). Large flan, attractive tone, nearly extremely fine or better.
