CATO below, ROMA in exergue, (S.149, Cr.274/1, Syd.417, RSC Porcia 1); Gargilius, Ogulnius and Vergilius, (c.86 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.906 grams), obv. Jupiter (or Apollo Vejovis) head to right, with oak wreath, thunderbolt below, rev. Jupiter in quadriga to right, (S.266, Cr.350A/2, Syd.723, RSC B.i) 226). Very fine or better. (2)
